An 80-year-old grandmother, Martín, who is celebrating his 40th birthday, his wife Jane on the brink of turning 40, their neighbour Augustina, and Romie, the 5-year-old daughter of the family, all grapple in their own way with existential fears in modern life. The fear of death appears in various forms at different ages, and each person, based on the mentioned characteristics, unconsciously adopts a defensive mechanism to suppress this fear. This suppression leads to moments in life where they cannot enjoy the moment. On the other hand, the characters in the story are so immersed in everyday routine life that they have forgotten to pursue activities they are interested in or set aside activities they dislike. The characters in the story have forgotten that sometimes it can be too late! too late to feel… too late to enjoy and too late to flow! Sometimes observing a kid’s vision of the world and concept of life can be a stunning resource to asset our mindset and defense mechanisms to reevaluate our life values.
