Our Story

Our story goes back to 2019, when Iouri founded Urban Models Talent Agency to introduce talented models to the fashion and modeling industry. After a couple of years in business, he decided to expand and take dive into the film world. That’s when he began his journey at Toronto Film School as a Film Production student.

There, he met Danial, Olugbenga, and Oliver — and together, they decided to form a team. This collaboration led to the creation of UM Studio and UM Media Group (yep, UM stands for Urban Models!).

Today, UM Studio has produced a feature film, several short films, a couple of TV shows and live broadcasting so many events and concerts with collaboration of YCP company. You can check them out in more detail in the Services section of our website.

Currently, UM Media Group collaborates with:

• Filmmakers as a production company, rental house, and post-production studio
• Concert and event organizers as broadcasters and logistics providers
• TV shows as a full-service production team
• Podcasters as equipment and studio space rental house

Our goal has always been to spark positive changes to help make this planet a better, more peaceful place for everyone, no matter their ethnicity or background.
